Sujay Santra, Founder & CEO of iKure attended an interactive Dialogue with the UNDP administrator on Wednesday, 4 September 2019 in New Delhi, which was in response towards UNDP’s progress against its 2018-2021 strategic plan. Given the positive reception to the new approach, UNDP invited three companies to participate in this dialogue with the Administrator and members states that are namely; EcoCash from Zimbabwe, Summa Equity & EQT and iKure.
The companies were chosen based on the following criteria:
a) representation from both developing and developed countries & national/international;
b) a mix of large , small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs);
c) one investor;
d) current relationship with UNDP at either global, regional or national level.
As a Business Call to Action member, iKure’s engagement with UNDP was a great opportunity to share its vision with the government and discuss how private participation can help achieve SDG goals and accelerate the transformation of investments towards the SDGs.
