iKure partners with TOI to reiterate Kolkata’s potential to become next Innovation hub

ikure and Times Of India organized Panel Discussion on ‘Role of Start-ups in Nation Building’ & Workshop on ‘Future of Technology in Healthcare’.

On 28th November 2019, iKure hosted a workshop entitled ‘primary healthcare delivery in India’ at Swissotel, Kolkata. iKure partnered with Times of India for the grand finale of Time Innovation Challenge to reiterate the City of Joy Kolkata’s potential to become the next big innovation hub .

The purpose of the workshop was to bring together a variety of stakeholders to discuss and identify opportunities for start-up innovators of Eastern India and support a conducive ecosystem for the entrepreneurs to flourish and shine. The agenda began with a panel discussion that included stalwarts from the start-up arena, N. Shridhar, Managing Director, Pegasus and Muniraju Pulipalyam, CTO, Microsoft for Startups, India.


The workshop concluded on a high spirit, drawing on the conclusion that though there are perception gaps on the success rate of Kolkata Startups, the region can become the innovation hub, if businesses are done in a bottom-up inclusive manner.
